I’m not mad at this for two reasons: 1: Breaking up with somebody actually led me to watch Lost. Ex-Boyfriend was obsessed with it and I hated it in turn because nothing I liked was ever as good in his eyes. Broke up with him (for various other reasons), decided it wouldn’t annoy him to avoid it anymore and got hooked. 2: I seriously ask myself everyday what I will do if the person I fall in love with doesn’t love this show as much as I do or (blasphemy) doesn’t like it at all. And since my future children have to be raised as little geeks and know all about this shit from the time I put them in a Dharma-issued onesie 108 minutes after birth, there is no way I’d be able to marry somebody that doesn’t understand why it all means so much. So sad, but very true :/
